Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking a Sr. Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join Corporate Sector – Enterprise Technology - Egress in London. You will apply deep knowledge of infrastructure disciplines, drive proxy and security solutions, and mentor a high-performing team.

You will lead client engagements, manage changes, and collaborate across IT and business units to ensure secure, compliant infrastructure delivery. Strong experience with Broadcom proxy suites and modern SaaS gateways is essential.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in infrastructure disciplines.
• 8+ years' applied experience in infrastructure engineering.
• Experience installing, migrating, decommissioning Broadcom/Blue Coat proxy suite (Proxy SG, ISG, CAS, SMC).
• Experience with SaaS Secure Gateway vendors (e.g., Zscaler, Netskope).
• Ability to build, test and deploy proxy-based security solutions.
• Strong network security knowledge and application-layer protocols (HTTP/HTTPS).
• Experience with REST APIs and container-based deployments.
• Familiarity with version control and SEIM tooling; scripting for automation (Python/Shell) and Ansible playbooks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to mentor teammates.

Responsibilities

• Manage clients and stakeholders with clear communication on deadlines and expectations.
• Create and update documentation and runbooks per engineering standards.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting for proxy issues and related security controls.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to align proxy solutions with goals.
• Contribute to change management improvements with standardized templates.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
