Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in infrastructure concepts with 8+ years of applied experience.
• Hands-on experience installing, migrating, and decommissioning Broadcom (Blue Coat) proxy devices.
• Experience with SaaS Secure Gateway vendors such as Zscaler or Netskope.
• Ability to design, test, and deploy proxy-based security solutions.
• Strong understanding of network security, HTTP/S, and vulnerability mitigation.
• Experience with REST APIs and container-based deployments.
• Familiarity with version control and scripting (shell/Python) and Ansible.
• Networking fundamentals: topology, VLANs, routing, load balancing, firewalls.
• Willingness to work 24x7 on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Client and Stakeholder management including client consultations, communication of expected completion dates and ongoing expectation management
• Contribute to process management and improvement within the team by updating and creating documentation and runbooks in line with engineering standards
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for Proxy issues
• Collaborate with other IT & business teams to align proxy solutions with organizational goals
• Contribute to change management process improvement by building standardized change implementation templates
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
