Job summary

Spire Global is seeking a Launch Services Contracts Manager to own the end-to-end launch services sourcing, contracting and supplier performance management. You will shape commercial frameworks, negotiate long-term agreements and ensure compliant onboarding of providers across global markets.

Reporting to the Global Supply Chain Director, you will act as the sole commercial authority for launch services with autonomy, influence and material spend responsibility.

Qualifications

• Significant procurement and commercial contracting experience in a technically demanding environment.
• Experience with launch/space or equivalent high-value category is a plus.
• Ability to design frameworks, negotiate long-term agreements and manage suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop global launch services sourcing strategy aligned to deployment plans.
• Lead market benchmarking across providers, track pricing, capacity and reliability.
• Build cost models, price benchmarks, and total cost of ownership analyses.
• Translate market data into sourcing recommendations for senior leadership.
• Lead tendering activities (RFI, RFP, RFQ) to award and business case approval.
• Manage supplier onboarding, due diligence, and export controls checks.
• Develop provider portfolio across geographies and ensure resilient capacity.
• Define KPIs and SLAs, monitor performance and drive improvements.
