Job summary

Spire is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer focused on Space Services to join a growing team delivering space-based solutions to the commercial market. You’ll work with Spire Account Executives to understand requirements, qualify opportunities and design customer-driven solutions using Spire’s satellite platforms and global infrastructure.

You will act as the primary technical POC, lead technical presentations, and collaborate across cross-functional teams to refine scope and ensure on-time

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in satellite mission design, development and testing.
• Knowledge of AGI STK and satellite design concepts.
• Experience writing technical reports and proposals.
• Experience presenting technical content to senior management.
• Customer-facing technical role experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to quickly understand complex customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support sales discussions as a senior expert; assess requirements and design solutions.
• Serve as primary technical POC for Space Services customers throughout the sales cycle.
• Lead technical presentations and reports to prospective customers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess feasibility and refine scope.
• Act as liaison between sales and engineering; provide product updates and training.
• Lead development of technical proposals with customer-specific content.
• Identify capability gaps to influence the technology roadmap.
• Support Space Services program execution through System Requirements Review.
