Job summary

Quartix Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior IT Technician for our Newtown Office. You will deliver 2nd line support for end users and infrastructure, bridging desktop and server environments while ensuring secure, reliable IT systems.

The role covers Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Entra ID, AD, Azure, Intune, networking and cloud services, with opportunities to deepen your infrastructure and cloud expertise while maintaining security best practices.

Qualifications

• Proven IT support or infrastructure support experience.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience supporting users in person and remotely.
• Strong hands-on Windows 11 in a corporate environment.
• Solid Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange/SharePoint/Teams.
• Experience with AD/Entra ID, Azure and Intune.
• Experience in Windows Server environments and cloud infrastructure.
• Good networking fundamentals: DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs, Wi‑Fi.
• Ability to document clearly and produce technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd line end-user and device support across desktop and infrastructure.
• Manage case workload with proper incident and change records.
• Identify recurring issues, perform root-cause analysis and mitigation.
• Support Microsoft 365 services: Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive.
• Handle device builds, patching and lifecycle via Intune.
• Administer Windows Server, AD/Entra ID, Group Policy, IAM.
• Assist with Azure infra: VMs, networking, storage, identity.
• Support core network services: DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi‑Fi, firewalls.
• Maintain security controls: MFA, conditional access, endpoint security.
• Produce and maintain IT docs, guides, and runbooks.
