Job summary

QinetiQ is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, develop and deliver secure networking, server and cloud solutions. You will provide technical leadership across infrastructure activities, working with project teams to meet customer requirements throughout the lifecycle.

The role involves working in enterprise/defence environments, with strong emphasis on Windows Server, virtualization, cloud technologies and automation scripting. On-site attendance at Malvern is required.

Qualifications

• Enterprise or secure environment experience.
• Experience designing and supporting IT infrastructure solutions.
• Knowledge of routing, switching and network security principles.
• Experience with Windows Server and virtualization platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across infrastructure projects and programmes.
• Design, develop and implement secure networking, server and cloud-based solutions.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and support procedures.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to meet requirements.
• Support reviews, change management and configuration control activities.
• Assist integration and troubleshooting of networking, server, virtualization and cloud platforms.
