Job summary

REED Technology is recruiting for a Senior Infrastructure Technician to join a large, established organisation in Norwich on a 5-6 month contract. You will act as a senior escalation point, delivering 3rd line support across Windows Server, Active Directory, networking and broader infrastructure services.

The role requires experience in complex IT environments, strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to partner with suppliers and internal stakeholders on upgrades and projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within a 3rd Line Support, Infrastructure Engineer or Senior Infrastructure role.
• Strong Windows Server administration experience.
• Advanced Active Directory skills.
• Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Knowledge of networking technologies including LAN, WAN and wireless networks.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced infrastructure professional who enjoys working across complex IT environments, solving technical issues and supporting business-critical systems.

You will act as a senior technical escalation point, providing 3rd line support, maintaining core infrastructure services and delivering technical project work. The position offers a varied workload covering Windows Server environments, Active Directory, networking, hardware support and wider infrastructure services.
