Job summary

Parfitt Cresswell is seeking an IT Manager to own software support, user training and continuous improvement of the systems used by our lawyers and staff. Based at Windsor or Sutton, this full-time role reports to the IT Director.

You will focus on the case management system, the portal, Microsoft 365, and related processes, while coordinating with TecWork for infrastructure. You don't need to be a programmer, but you will convert user needs into clear requirements and drive delivery.

Qualifications

• Essential IT leadership experience with software support and user training.
• Strong ability to translate user needs into clear requirements.
• Experience collaborating with third-party suppliers and MSPs.
• Excellent written and spoken communication across levels.

Responsibilities

• Be the senior point of contact for software issues firm-wide.
• Support the case management system, portal, SharePoint and Microsoft 365.
• Triage software vs. infrastructure issues and coordinate with TecWork.
• Lead software training for new starters and ongoing user education.
• Translate user needs into clear requirements and work with AI tools.
• Maintain records of recurring issues to drive permanent fixes.
