Job summary
QED Legal Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced IT & Systems Lead for a law firm in Newcastle upon Tyne with regular travel to Leeds. The role combines IT support, M365 administration, business systems management, tech projects and process improvement across two offices.
You will report to the Director of Operations, own day‑to‑day IT operations, drive system enhancements, user experience, cybersecurity and compliance while coordinating external suppliers and technology upgrades.
Qualifications
- Experience in IT support, systems administration or technology operations.
- Strong Microsoft 365 knowledge, particularly SharePoint.
- Knowledge of Power Platform, automation and business systems.
Responsibilities
- Providing day‑to‑day IT support and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Managing Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
- Supporting Power Platform, Power Automate, Dynamics CRM and business systems.
- Coordinating external IT suppliers and resolving support issues.
- Supporting technology upgrades, automation, AI tools and systems improvements.
- Managing IT equipment, user access, licences and onboarding.
- Delivering systems training and supporting cybersecurity and compliance.
