Job summary

Premier Foods is seeking an IT Infrastructure Specialist to deliver complex infrastructure projects within a busy Technical Services Team. The role covers on‑premises and cloud builds, with governance, ARB and security alignment, and a strong emphasis on cross‑functional collaboration.

The Senior specialist will manage multiple workstreams, create design artefacts, and handover to Service Operations including DR/backup readiness. Hybrid working with Winchester/UK travel expectations.

Qualifications

• ITIL knowledge and change management practices.
• Strong understanding of core IT infrastructure (compute, storage, virtualization).
• Proficiency with Windows Server, AD, MECM/Intune, Entra ID and modern deployment tools.
• Networking skills including SD-WAN architecture and firewall technologies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver project implementations across IT infrastructure.
• Create LLDs and configuration workbooks following internal standards.
• Plan and execute build, configuration and migration tasks across on‑premises and cloud.
• Ensure changes comply with change control and ARB/security requirements.
• Provide ELS and knowledge transfer to Service Operations after go‑live.
• Liaise with external suppliers; validate designs against contracts/SLAs.
