Job summary
Peaple Talent is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer in Swindon, operating in a hybrid model. You will manage cloud and on‑premise infrastructure, networks, and security, while providing senior technical leadership and mentoring to the technology team.
You will collaborate with stakeholders to drive operational excellence, ensure resilience, and support digital transformation across the business.
Qualifications
- Senior Infrastructure Engineer or similar technical leadership role.
- Strong expertise in Windows Server, Microsoft 365 and Azure.
- Solid enterprise networking knowledge including firewalls, routing and DNS.
- Experience with cloud and on-premise infrastructure management.
- Solid understanding of IT security, vulnerability management and incident response.
- Experience mentoring and leading junior engineers.
Responsibilities
- Provide senior technical leadership and support strategic infrastructure initiatives.
- Act as deputy to Cloud & Infrastructure Manager and mentor teammates.
- Ensure reliability, security and scalability of critical systems.
- Lead operational excellence and contribute to technology transformation.
