Job summary

ARCA Consulting Ltd is representing a leading e-commerce company seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure & Server Engineer to deliver hands-on 3rd line support in a hybrid UK-based role. You will manage cloud and on-premises Microsoft environments, lead major incidents, and contribute to infrastructure projects.

The role requires strong experience with Azure, Intune, MECM/ConfigMgr and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), with on-call duties and a 10-12 month FTC, offering a potential permanent

Qualifications

• Experience in a large enterprise IT environment.
• Hands-on 3rd line infrastructure support and incident management.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure, Intune and ConfigMgr architectures.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on 3rd line infrastructure support and act as escalation point.
• Lead during major incidents and coordinate resolver teams.
• Manage hybrid Microsoft infrastructure across cloud and on-premises.
• Work with Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, AD and Microsoft 365.
• Maintain end-user computing with MECM/ConfigMgr and Intune.
• Support Windows Server and desktop environments, patching and optimization.
• Work with VMware and Hyper-V virtualization.
• Assist in infrastructure changes, testing and documentation.
