Job summary

HAWK3 Talent Solutions is seeking an IT Infrastructure Support Engineer in Tiverton, Devon. The role is primarily site-based with hybrid options after probation, offering £30,000–£35,000 annually and a 35-hour week.

You will maintain and modernise an on-premises Wintel environment while contributing to the shift towards cloud technologies and serverless approaches. The role suits a professional aiming to advance to senior infrastructure or 3rd-line engineering.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidates have at least two years' experience in a similar infrastructure/support role.
• Senior infrastructure engineering candidates with broader IT experience will be considered.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure and on-premises Windows servers is essential.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain and improve the organisation's IT infrastructure.
• Support the transition towards cloud-based technologies and modern workplace tools.
• Provide 3rd-line technical support and assist the IT team with escalated issues.
• Undertake project-related activities to improve the IT estate.
• Participate in change management and device/account provisioning.
• Carry out regular patching, upgrades and preventative maintenance.
