Job summary

Just Recruitment Group Ltd is seeking an Infrastructure Support Engineer to join a small team in Tiverton. The role centers on moving the IT estate to modern workplace technologies, providing 3rd line support, and guiding technology selection.

The successful candidate will support a Wintel on-premises infrastructure, with a future shift toward cloud-based solutions and serverless computing. Strong end-user focus and proactive maintenance are essential.

Qualifications

Experience with IT helpdesk and end-user support.
Proficient in Microsoft 365 administration and tenancy management.
Familiar with SharePoint, Exchange, Intune, Entra and security controls.

Responsibilities

Support the IT estate, monitor infrastructure, and perform preventive maintenance.
Assist end users and resolve escalations with a focus on service quality.
Contribute to change management and documentation to improve workflows.
Plan and implement cloud-based technologies while maintaining cybersecurity objectives.
Assist with user/device provisioning and movement (starter/mover/leaver).
Support ongoing IT projects and automation efforts.
