Job summary

Spott is seeking a Senior IT Engineer to join its Lancashire team on-site. The role covers 2nd/3rd line IT support, infrastructure, networking and technical projects, with opportunities to lead and support the wider IT team.

The successful candidate will work across internal and customer environments, visiting sites regularly and taking ownership of projects from start to finish. A hands-on, proactive approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior IT engineering or senior IT support role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and M365.
• Solid networking knowledge including switches, VLANs, wireless, and connectivity.
• Hands-on experience with hardware build, deployment and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 2nd/3rd line technical support across systems, infrastructure, hardware and networking.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across a range of environments.
• Configure, deploy and maintain IT hardware and devices.
• Take ownership of technical projects, coordinating internal teams, customers and third parties through to completion.
• Support the delivery and commissioning of AV and technology solutions.
• Provide on-site technical support and act as a senior point of contact for customers.
• Mentor and support the wider IT team, helping drive technical standards and best practice.
• Manage documentation, project updates and technical handovers.
