Job summary

Morson Human Resources Limited is looking for an experienced 2nd Line Engineer to join a growing technical team on Teesside, fully on-site. You’ll provide hands-on support across servers, networking, Microsoft 365 and broader infrastructure, and take ownership of complex issues.

This Service Desk‑focused role offers progression as you troubleshoot, document work, and communicate effectively with users and clients. A salary up to £40,000 is on offer in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 2nd line experience across servers, networking and Microsoft 365
• Strong Windows Server administration skills
• Understanding of DNS, DHCP, VLANs, switching, routing and VPNs
• Clear troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
• Professional client support and communication
• Experience with structured ticketing and support processes
• Experience with Hyper‑V/VMware virtualization
• Familiarity with ITIL or PSA/ticketing systems would be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support across servers, networking, Microsoft 365 and wider infrastructure.
• Own technical issues, troubleshoot effectively and be the reliable point of contact for users.
