Band 7 £46,148 - £52,809 Per annum

Hours: 37.5 per week, all MKUH roles will be considered for flexible working.

As a Global Digital Exemplar Fast Follower, it is an exciting time at Milton Keynes University Hospital. We are seeking a Senior IT Engineer to support our journey to becoming a state-of-the-art digital hospital.

You will work within a friendly, multi-disciplinary team in a fast-moving, dynamic environment, collaborating with staff across the organization and external partners.

Job Responsibilities

1. Provide high-quality, responsive support for all Trust staff and NHS Milton Keynes staff when needed.
2. Support internal IT staff to meet SLAs and share knowledge effectively.
3. Support remotely via phone or remote tools, or face-to-face as necessary, ensuring timely resolution of incidents.
4. Assist with IT Service Desk operations as required.
5. Manage IT Infrastructure through innovation, maintenance, and operations, including data centres, cloud, networking, servers, storage, firewalls, PCs, peripherals, telephony, and core applications.
6. Monitor the health of the Trust's IT infrastructure to minimize service disruptions.
7. Ensure all Trust data is secure and protected.
8. Participate in a 24/7 on-call rota.
