Job Title: Senior IT Engineer

Location: Central London (hybrid - 3 days onsite)

Industry: Finance

Salary: 35-40k per annum (DOE)

The Role:

We are seeking a Senior IT Support Analyst who will act as an escalation point for IT support issues and will be involved with specialized aspects of the company's IT infrastructure.

Working as part of a team in a busy environment, the job holder will handle a variety of support issues, from printer problems to issues with trading and market pricing applications, and everything in between. The role involves managing our Hyper-V / Virtualized server and PC estate, overseeing resource usage of Hyper-V hosts and SAN infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

1. Network troubleshooting and configuration (Cisco, routers, switches)
2. Basic networking - DNS/DHCP, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN
3. Supporting the Microsoft Office365 suite of applications
4. Supporting SQL databases
5. Liaising with third-party support vendors, developers, and suppliers (comfortable communicating with Executives/Managers)
6. Experience using Microsoft Azure
7. Providing support face-to-face, over the phone, or via remote access (1st-3rd line)
8. Supporting an active trading desk, back-office staff, executives, and staff in overseas offices

Shift Patterns:

• Early shift: 7am to 4pm
• Late shift: 10am to 7pm
