Job summary

Zego in London is hiring an experienced iOS engineer to shape architecture and deliver a fast, secure consumer app experience. You will build and evolve the native SDK that powers driver scores, and set technical direction across teams while maintaining high standards.

You will work closely with Product Managers to ship features customers actually use, apply AI-first thinking daily, and thrive in a hybrid work model with offices in central London or Halifax.

Qualifications

• Deep iOS experience with a track record of shipped apps.
• Solid understanding of software architecture and trade-offs.
• Built scalable, usable iOS SDKs for third-party use.
• Developers-focused on secure, high-performance apps at scale.
• Ability to explain decisions clearly to product and engineers.
• Daily use of AI principles to inform development and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Shape the architecture of the iOS platform as product grows.
• Deliver a market-leading consumer app experience with frictionless policy management.
• Build and evolve the native mobile SDK for driver data.
• Set technical direction and engineering standards for teams.
• Raise quality through code reviews, docs and tech talks.
• Collaborate with Product to launch widely-used features.
