Job summary

Zego is hiring an experienced iOS engineer to shape and own the architecture of the mobile platform in a fast-growing AI-driven insurance environment. You will design a secure, high-performance iOS app and evolve the SDK used by partners, while setting engineering standards and mentoring teams.

You will collaborate with Product Managers to launch practical features that customers actually use, ensuring a seamless, market-leading consumer experience across devices.

Qualifications

• Deep iOS expertise with 6+ years shipping iOS apps.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
• Experience building scalable, usable SDKs for third parties.
• Proven ability to deliver secure, fast, scalable iOS apps under load.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with product and other engineers.
• Daily work with AI tools and a proactive, ownership-driven attitude.

Responsibilities

• Shape the architecture of the iOS platform to stay secure, fast and maintainable as the product grows.
• Deliver a consumer app experience that leads the market and minimizes friction for policy management.
• Build and evolve the native mobile SDK that collects data behind driver scores.
• Set technical direction and engineering standards for teams to follow.
• Raise the quality bar through code reviews, design docs and tech talks to share knowledge.
• Partner with Product Managers to launch features that customers actually use.
