Job summary

Zapp is seeking a skilled mobile engineer to take full lifecycle ownership of the apps customers use daily across iOS, Android, and web. You’ll help us ship fast in the world of quick commerce, blending AI-assisted features with a world-class UX.

Qualifications

• Mobile experience with 5+ years building production software.
• Deep React Native and Expo experience across iOS and Android with B2C apps.
• Strong TypeScript fundamentals and idiomatic coding.
• Experience using AI daily and integrating AI patterns into products.
• Production-minded with app performance and release process knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Build the mobile and web experiences for iOS, Android, and web using React Native and Expo.
• Incorporate AI into daily development; share patterns to speed up delivery.
• Prototype AI features and bring them to life in the app.
• Own delivery end-to-end: design, implement, and ship features to production.
• Own on-call rotations and support production.
• Keep the app fast and trusted by profiling performance and hardening releases.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and coding standards.
