Job summary

Zapp is seeking a senior software engineer to own end-to-end delivery across iOS, Android and web, helping ship AI-powered features that delight customers.

Based in London, this full-time hybrid role requires the right to work in the UK and a willingness to work on-site at least three days a week. You’ll join a fast-paced, customer-obsessed team building real-time, on-demand experiences.

Qualifications

• Deep engineering experience across backend, web and infrastructure.
• Strong fundamentals in TypeScript, GraphQL and SQL.
• Experience with NestJS or similar Node.js frameworks.
• Cloud/DevOps mindset with modern tooling and CI/CD.
• Daily use of AI to improve product and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Build world-class customer experience across stack, backend, web and mobile.
• Bring AI into daily work and share patterns to speed delivery.
• Set AI direction to create real customer value and prototype bets.
• Own end-to-end delivery from design to production.
• Own on-call and keep production fast and trusted.
• Define architecture, patterns and standards across the product.
