Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a Software General Manager to own a portfolio of Insurance Software customers, building long-term strategic relationships and delivering value for both customers and DXC.

The role requires leading end-to-end customer experiences, developing strategic account plans, and collaborating with Sales, Delivery, Pre-Sales, Product, Finance and Legal to drive growth in a complex insurance software environment.

Qualifications

• Strong insurance software experience
• Proven account management experience within software or technology
• Experience managing complex, high-value customer relationships
• Ability to build credibility with senior and C-suite stakeholders
• Strong commercial acumen including contracts, renewals, revenue and forecasting
• Experience developing strategic account plans and identifying growth opportunities
• Excellent relationship-building, communication, influencing and negotiation skills
• Ability to understand customer strategy and align priorities with technology solutions
• Collaborative approach to lead cross-functional teams
• Proactive, organized and solutions-focused

Responsibilities

• Own and develop a portfolio of strategic Insurance Software customer relationships
• Build trusted, long-term relationships with senior and C-suite stakeholders
• Take ownership of end-to-end customer experience, ensuring customers feel heard and supported
• Develop strategic account plans focused on customer success, retention and sustainable growth
• Understand each customer's business strategy, priorities and technology landscape
• Identify opportunities where DXC's software, services and capabilities can deliver additional value
• Collaborate with Sales, Pre-Sales, Delivery and Product to develop opportunities and solutions
• Lead customer governance and provide a clear point of contact for senior stakeholders
• Take commercial responsibility across accounts including contracts, renewals, revenue, forecasting and invoicing
• Proactively identify opportunities, challenges and risks and address them with the right teams
• Be a strong voice for customers internally and align priorities with DXC
• Build cross-functional teams and an environment of collaboration and accountability
• Strengthen customer satisfaction, advocacy and long-term partnerships
