Job summary

Mpeople Recruitment in Manchester is seeking an Installation Planner & Project Manager to oversee projects from survey through on-site delivery and handover. You will coordinate resources, plan installations, and manage budgets to ensure timely, safe, and within-budget delivery.

There is strong potential to progress into an Installation Manager role as you lead site teams and improve planning processes across UK-wide sites.

Qualifications

• Experience planning or delivering installation projects.
• Site surveys, drawings, materials and fixing methods.
• Experience coordinating teams, subcontractors, suppliers and costs.
• Understanding RAMS and site safety (working at height).
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Competent in MS Office and planning systems.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally, including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate installation projects, schedules and documentation.
• Conduct site surveys and develop installation plans, fixing methods and materials schedules.
• Coordinate installers, subcontractors, suppliers, equipment and transport.
• Manage project budgets, quotations, purchasing and cost control.
• Ensure RAMS and site safety requirements are in place.
• Oversee site delivery, quality checks, snagging and client handover.
• Improve planning systems and reduce delays and unnecessary site revisits.
