Job summary

The Recruitment Fix is recruiting for a Project / Installation Manager to oversee installation and commissioning across projects in the UK. The role requires coordinating with sales, sub-contractors and internal stakeholders to meet schedules and budgets.

Candidates should have strong project management experience, ideally within mechanical engineering or construction, and be able to manage multiple projects nationwide. 37 hours a week with generous holiday and pension benefits are on offer.

Qualifications

• Strong project management background.
• Experience in Mechanical Engineering or Construction sectors.
• Experience managing multiple projects in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Work with sales office at tender stage to identify and advise on installation.
• Manage projects from point of order ensuring that all internal stakeholders are fully informed.
• Hold regular meetings with internal stakeholders to ensure that timescales are being met.
• Keep regular contact with clients to ensure that they are fully informed on projects progress.
• Attend site meetings as required.
• Manage all aspects of installation, project plans and regular updates.
• Arranging installations and commissioning team.
• Appointing and working with sub-contractors.
• Provision of Risk Assessments and Method Statements where required.
• Ensure that installation cost do not exceed budget.
• Identify and charge for variations where necessary.
• Hold post installation briefings with a view to identifying areas of improvement.
• Maximise on-site efficiency.
• Work with Health & Safety to ensure compliance with current standards and legislation for onsite working.
• Sign off projects when completed with a full report.
