Job summary

Enfield Council in Greater London is seeking a Senior Technician, Infrastructure Management to help manage and maintain infrastructure and assets across Enfield's Parks and Open Spaces.

You will undertake inspections and surveys, develop maintenance programmes and help deliver improvement projects using a broad range of technical skills, including feasibility and option studies, design, site supervision, project management, contract administration and financial control.

Qualifications

• Experience developing maintenance work programmes and undertaking inspections and investigations relating to Parks and Open Spaces assets.
• Ability to work effectively with contractors, prepare specifications and communicate technical information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work programmes and financial estimates.
• Undertake inspections, surveys and specialist investigations.
• Support the design of maintenance, improvement and new-build schemes.
• Prepare specifications and commissioning works.
• Supervise contractors and monitor quality.
• Maintain inspection and maintenance records.
• Manage expenditure relating to projects.
• Communicate with residents, Members, stakeholders and organisations.
• Support sustainable and innovative approaches to asset maintenance.
