Job summary

FM Conway invites applications for a Senior Engineer to lead structural maintenance and design within the Structures Business Unit. Based at Paddington, you will support Westminster City Council and other authorities, delivering inspections, design tasks and technical assessments with a focus on safety and resilience of London's infrastructure.

You will possess a BEng in Civil Engineering with professional membership progress toward CEng/ MIStructE, and be proficient in BridgeStation, AutoCAD

Qualifications

• BEng in Civil Engineering required.
• Chartered status or progression towards ICE/IStructE preferred.
• Experience with Local Authority highway maintenance regimes.
• Knowledge of Eurocodes.
• Proficient in BridgeStation, AutoCAD and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of structural maintenance programmes across the Structures team.
• Plan and deliver GI and PI inspections of highway structures (bridges, footbridges, walls, subways).
• Produce inspection programmes and cost plans for Local Authority clients.
• Prepare technical reports and investigation findings, with repair/reinstatement options.
