Job summary

Enfield Council is seeking a Senior Technician, Infrastructure Management to coordinate and maintain parks and open spaces infrastructure. You will undertake inspections, surveys and supervision, contributing to maintenance programmes and delivery of improvement projects across assets.

The role requires an ONC/HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent, with strong project management and contractor liaison capabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience developing maintenance work programmes and undertaking inspections/ investigations.
• Ability to work with contractors and prepare specifications.
• Strong communication with residents, Members and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work programmes and financial estimates.
• Undertake inspections, surveys and specialist investigations.
• Support design of maintenance, improvement and new-build schemes.
• Prepare specifications and commissioning works.
• Supervise contractors and monitor quality.
• Maintain inspection and maintenance records.
• Manage expenditure related to projects.
• Communicate with residents, Members and stakeholders.
• Support sustainable and innovative asset maintenance approaches.
