Senior Infrastructure Engineer? South Wales based? Then read on!!

We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our Infrastructure Team. You will be responsible for the implementation, support, and maintenance of all existing and future infrastructure at a client site in Newport, South Wales.

What you'll be doing:

• Aligning all IT infrastructure aspects at the site in accordance with a unified approach.
• Thriving in a fast-paced environment with constant change.
• Delivering infrastructure projects and managing daily operations.
• Collaborating with a highly experienced, agile team to handle BAU and projects.

What you’ll bring:

• Knowledge of Wintel hardware & operating systems (Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019).
• Experience with virtualization, VMware ESXi, vSphere compliance, and right sizing.
• Understanding of Windows DNS & DHCP principles.
• Active Directory, Group Policy, and scripting knowledge.
• Experience with Windows Server patching using WSUS and SCCM.

It would be great if you had:

• Experience with multiple operating system vendors.
• Microsoft Certifications (MCP, MCITP, MCSE, MCSA, MCTS).
• Basic Linux/Unix skills.
• Security clearance.
