Senior Infrastructure Engineer - SharePoint

Location: Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Nottingham, Oldham, Swansea

Salary: Up to £57,400 per annum

The Role

The company plays a crucial role in maintaining safety standards on the roads, conducting tests, and overseeing vehicle-related matters in the UK.

The Digital Workspace team designs, builds, and supports the core devices and software used by colleagues across the country. They deliver highly automated, fully cloud-managed Microsoft and Apple solutions, with a focus on Digital Employee Experience, continuous improvement, security, and sustainability. They leverage SharePoint as a central platform for collaboration, document management, and intranet services, and also integrate Microsoft Teams and OneDrive for communication and file sharing.

They are seeking a SharePoint expert in the Digital Workplace space, capable of configuring, deploying, and managing SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams workloads to enhance collaboration. Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To

• Drive improvements to deliver new and updated core infrastructure services based on business and user needs to ensure maximum value.
• Maintain oversight of the evolving infrastructure landscape by monitoring publications, attending external steering groups, and supplier events.
• Maintain core infrastructure services by identifying problems through analysis, supporting resolution, and documenting causes and remedies.
• Identify and implement functional, performance, and quality improvements to the infrastructure estate.
