Qualifications

• Strong experience with VMware infrastructure and enterprise backup solutions.
• Knowledge in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity processes.
• Ability to support and manage complex infrastructure environments.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain large-scale VMware and private cloud environments.
• Lead backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities.
• Act as a senior escalation point for infrastructure incidents.
• Drive root cause analysis and service improvements.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers.

Skills

Strong VMware infrastructure experience

Enterprise backup experience (Veeam, CommAct, Rubrik or similar)

Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity knowledge

Experience supporting complex infrastructure environments

Strong troubleshooting and operational support skills

Experience mentoring or leading other engineers

Azure and hybrid cloud exposure

MSP or regulated industry experience

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and evolving a large-scale hybrid infrastructure spanning private cloud and Azure environments, while ensuring backup, recovery, and disaster recovery capabilities meet demanding operational and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain large-scale VMware and private cloud environments
• Lead backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities
• Act as a senior escalation point for infrastructure incidents
• Drive root cause analysis and service improvements
• Mentor and guide junior engineers
• Support infrastructure upgrades, lifecycle management, and project delivery
• Work closely with customers and internal stakeholders
