Job summary

VIQU Limited is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to own cloud, network and on‑prem infrastructure. The role is remote within the UK and focuses on Azure, security, identity, and monitoring while leading infrastructure projects.

You will manage OS and security tooling, lead migration initiatives and provide senior escalation support across the team, with a strong emphasis on ISO 27001 controls and audit evidence.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on Azure infrastructure experience.
• Strong enterprise networking knowledge (LAN/WAN/VPN/DNS/DHCP/VLANs).
• Experience with firewalls (Sophos and/or Barracuda).
• Experience with Entra ID, Intune and NinjaOne.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Mimecast for email/web security.
• VMware vSphere/NSX experience.
• Security-focused with vulnerability management and ISO 27001 knowledge.
• Ability to monitor infrastructure and perform root cause analysis.
• Strong technical documentation and stakeholder communication.
• Ability to lead projects and act as senior escalation point.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical projects, documentation and mentoring across the team.

VIQU are partnering with a leading technology organisation seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to take ownership of its cloud, network and on-premises infrastructure. This hands-on role covers Azure, networking, security, identity, virtualisation and monitoring, while acting as a senior escalation point and leading infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities for Senior Infrastructure Engineer:

• Design, implement and maintain secure Azure infrastructure and networking

Key Experience Required for Senior Infrastructure Engineer:

• Senior infrastructure or network engineering experience, ideally within an MSP
• Strong hands-on Azure infrastructure and security experience
• Strong enterprise networking knowledge across LAN/WAN, VPN, routing, DNS, DHCP and VLANs
• Hands-on Sophos and/or Barracuda firewall experience
• Experience with Entra ID, Intune and NinjaOne
• Microsoft 365 and Mimecast experience, with strong email and web security knowledge
• VMware vSphere and NSX experience
• Experience with vulnerability management and infrastructure security
• ISO 27001 experience, including audits and evidence gathering
• Infrastructure monitoring experience, ideally LogicMonitor or PRTG
• Strong technical documentation, communication and stakeholder skills
• Ability to work independently, lead projects and act as a senior escalation point
