Job summary

Adria Solutions is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer in Manchester to join a growing managed services team. The role covers monitoring, incident management, backup validation, patching support, and administration across Azure and on-premise platforms.

You will contribute to runbooks, documentation, and participate in on-call rotations, gaining exposure to cloud, virtualization, and critical infrastructure operations within a modern enterprise setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in infrastructure support across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Experience with monitoring tools and ITSM platforms.
• Good Windows Server administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Exposure to VMware vSphere and Microsoft Azure environments.
• Understanding of backup technologies and operational support processes.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of ITIL-based service management practices.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage infrastructure alerts across cloud and on-premise environments.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure incidents.
• Manage ticket lifecycles through ITSM processes and SLA targets.

• Assist with Azure and VMware virtual machine administration and troubleshooting.
• Contribute to operational documentation, runbooks, and knowledge sharing.
