Job summary

TXP is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer with deep VMware infrastructure expertise to join a high-performing team supporting enterprise platforms in a hybrid Milton Keynes environment. Inside IR35, 565 P/D, 3 days on site per week.

You will blend operations and project delivery, maintain platform stability, and contribute to cloud migration and modernisation programmes while documenting processes and sharing knowledge across the wider infrastructure function.

Qualifications

• Experience with VMware ESXi, vCenter, and NSX in large-scale environments.
• Proven infrastructure engineering and virtualisation experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex platform issues and support operations.
• Experience with cloud migration and hybrid-cloud environments (Desirable).

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain VMware-based virtualisation platforms.

We're seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise across the VMware virtualisation stack to join a high-performing infrastructure team supporting critical enterprise platforms and services.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a combination of business-as-usual operations and project delivery activities, helping maintain and enhance a complex virtualised infrastructure environment.

The Role

You’ll work alongside a team of skilled infrastructure specialists, supporting and developing virtualisation services across a large-scale technology estate. The role combines operational support, platform administration, infrastructure improvements, and the deployment of new services and capabilities.

You’ll be responsible for maintaining platform stability, supporting ongoing projects, and contributing to future technology initiatives, including cloud migration and modernisation programmes.
