Job summary

Spectrum IT Recruitment is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer in London with hybrid working options. You will own and improve the internal infrastructure and end-user environment in a fast-growing company, driving automation and IaC initiatives.

You will manage AWS infrastructure, Microsoft 365, and Entra ID, supporting Windows and Mac endpoints, with a close collaboration with Cybersecurity to bolster InfoSec processes.

Qualifications

• Background in Infrastructure or Systems engineering and administration.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS preferred) and hybrid setups.
• Strong Microsoft 365, Intune, Windows and MacOS experience.
• Foundational networking knowledge and cybersecurity awareness.

Job description

Senior Infrastructure Engineer - up to £75k

London offices + Hybrid working options

A key role in a growing business, the Senior Infrastructure Engineer will own and improve the internal Infrastructure and End user environment in a fast-paced scale up business, with scope for progression as the business grows.

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer would hold broad technical ownership across Infrastructure, Systems and internal IT services in a collaborative environment with responsibilities spreading to formalisation of processes, automation, and supporting InfoSec initiatives.

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will manage the AWS infrastructure, Microsoft 365 and Entra ID environments with Windows and MacOS endpoints support.

There will be a key focus on Automation (IaC) and configuration with the opportunity to make an impact here in the short-term.

This role would work closely with Cybersecurity team and help support cybersecurity processes.

What we’re looking for:

• A background in Infrastructure or Systems engineering and administration
• The ability to adapt and be proactive in growing business - scale-up experience is a plus
• Previous experience in AWS environment, or hybrid AWS / Azure environments
• Established background in Microsoft 365 and Intune, Windows/Mac
• Knowledge of Networking fundamentals
• Practical understanding of Cybersecurity, Info Security

Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK and be happy commuting to London offices 2 days per week
