Job summary

Genius Sports is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help lead critical initiatives within the InfraPlat team. You will drive standardized deployments, multi-account/region Kubernetes clusters, MLOps, and a unified authentication platform to support the company’s vast product catalog.

You will collaborate with product and engineering teams to scope requests, reduce toil, and elevate the developer experience while mentoring peers to maximize potential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience building software and operating platforms.
• Experience building applications and automations to eliminate toil for engineering teams.
• Understand the developer experience and what it takes to magnify the output of engineers across the whole org.
• Strong communication skills that enable you to drive platform adoption forwards for new teams.
• Mentorship and upleveling the team around you to maximize their full potential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement technical initiatives for the InfraPlat team across projects, including multi-account/region Kubernetes clusters, MLOps, standardized deployments, and company-wide authentication.
• Scope requests with product engineering teams, identify shared pain points, and prioritize initiatives.
