On behalf of NRS, we are seeking a Senior Information Security Manager for a 6-month on-site contract in Bristol, working 5 days per week.

SC Clearance is mandatory; candidates must be willing and eligible to undergo checks. Preference may be given to candidates with active security clearance due to the short-term and urgent nature of this role.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage CS&IA interactions across the AGR’s future missions program.
2. Engage with senior leaders, engineering teams, and external entities like ONR and EDF.
3. Represent the CISO and shape CS&IA deliverables.
4. Provide expert guidance on performance against standards, regulations, and legislation.
5. Benchmark against industry standards in cybersecurity and information assurance.
6. Enable and influence the function to operate safely and securely.

Essential Qualifications:

• Proven leadership in cybersecurity initiatives within complex environments.
• Self-motivated with strong initiative.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, including liaising with senior leaders and external bodies.
• Deep technical expertise in cybersecurity and CS&IA.
• Thorough understanding of regulatory and legislative requirements.
