Placements24 is seeking a Senior Industrial Production Manager to oversee and optimize production operations in Randburg, Gauteng. This role drives lean transformation, sets production schedules, and leads a large workforce to meet targets while maintaining safety and quality.

The ideal candidate has a strong industrial engineering/operations background, proven leadership, and a track record of productivity improvements and cost control in manufacturing environments.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years' progressive experience in production management in industrial manufacturing.
• Experience leading large teams and implementing lean/Six Sigma.
• Strong production planning, scheduling and inventory control knowledge.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills; safety and quality focus.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee all daily production activities to meet targets efficiently and safely.
• Develop and implement production schedules to optimize resources.
• Lead a team of production supervisors, line leaders, and operators.
• Champion lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor performance, address deviations, and take corrective action.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental policies.
• Manage budgets, control costs, and identify savings opportunities.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and supply chain for seamless operations.
• Invest in training to enhance skills and productivity.
• Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement on the floor.
