Placements24 is seeking an innovative Manufacturing Engineer to drive improvements in production processes and systems at nosso Randburg facilities. The role focuses on designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing methods to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure high product quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering in a production environment.
• Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and statistical analysis tools.
• Experience with CNC machining, welding, or assembly is a plus.
• Must reside in Randburg, Gauteng.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and implement efficient manufacturing processes and systems.
• Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement effective solutions.
• Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, including work instructions and SOPs.
• Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability of new products.
• Evaluate and recommend new manufacturing technologies and equipment.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to optimize operations.
• Provide technical support and training to production personnel.
• Manage projects related to process improvement and new product introductions.
• Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
