Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Production Line Leader for a Randburg, Gauteng FMCG facility. You will oversee a production line, manage a team of operators, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to SOPs and safety standards.

You will drive daily targets for volume and quality, coordinate with maintenance and QA, and mentor operators to sustain high productivity in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Production Line Leader or Supervisor in FMCG.
• Solid understanding of FMCG manufacturing processes and quality standards.
• Available to work on-site in Randburg, Gauteng.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team on a designated production line.
• Ensure targets for volume, quality and efficiency are met daily.
• Monitor line performance and address bottlenecks promptly.
• Train new operators and provide ongoing coaching.
• Maintain health, safety and hygiene on the floor.
• Keep accurate production records (output, waste, downtime).
• Collaborate with maintenance and quality control to ensure equipment reliability and product quality.
• Implement and reinforce SOPs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs.
• Promote a safe and positive working environment.
