Job summary

National Highways is seeking a Lead Identity Manager to head Identity and Access Management across Cyber Security, Digital Operational Services and Digital Corporate teams. You will drive strategy for identity lifecycle, access governance, privileged access and authentication services to protect critical assets.

This hybrid role requires two days in the office per week, with travel to team meetings. Candidates should be willing to obtain SC clearance; five years' UK residency is normally

Qualifications

• Experience leading security or technology functions providing services and support.
• Proven track record in developing and deploying security or technology services.
• Experience building and leading teams in a technology environment.
• Experience creating policies, strategies and processes.
• Experience managing teams delivering operational services and support tools (e.g., ServiceNow).

Responsibilities

• Provide development and management of Identity Systems and SOPs; lead resources to mitigate security threats.
• Align team objectives to business strategies; ensure governance, policy compliance and risk reduction.
• Lead delivery of Identity Services to meet quality expectations and deliver user value.
• Maintain and develop SOPs, identity processes and knowledge articles; ensure policy alignment.
• Provide regular reporting on identity threats, risks and controls to stakeholders.
• Oversee Identity Assurance Governance and Privileged Access Monitoring transitions.
• Maintain compliance with security standards, legislation and government guidance.
• Influence strategic direction of Identity Management to reduce risk and support business goals.
