Job summary

Greenford High School is seeking a Senior ICT Technician to support our IT provision for students and staff. You will work under the IT Network Manager and lead a technician while resolving complex IT issues, maintaining networks, and supporting classroom technologies.

You will manage helpdesk requests, install and configure software/hardware, and contribute to school IT projects, ensuring security and smooth operation of the IT environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with Active Directory, Google Admin Console and Windows Server environments.
• Ability to install/configure hardware and software and troubleshoot complex IT issues.
• Experience providing first and second-line IT support in a school or similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer helpdesk calls and manage the ticket queue.
• Provide first and second-line IT support to staff and students.
• Lead the IT technician and delegate tickets as required.
• Troubleshoot complex issues raised by 1st line technicians.
• Assist in delivering IT projects with the Network Manager.
• Maintain school network infrastructure including switches, Wi-Fi, and security controls.
• Liaise with third-party vendors for projects and orders.
• Assist in asset management and documentation.
