Qualifikationen

• At least 10 years of demonstrable DevOps engineering experience with governance and compliance.
• Minimum 2 years of IBM Z experience and familiarity with z/OS concepts.
• Hands-on with GitHub, Jenkins, Ansible Platform, Nexus, Python, Vault and APIs.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, design reviews and engineering excellence.
• Experience designing resilient, auditable automation in enterprise environments.

Aufgaben

• Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers and promote DevOps best practices.
• Design and develop production-grade automation using Python and YAML.
• Develop enterprise automation with Ansible Automation Platform across IBM Z and distributed platforms.
• Create restartable, state-aware workflows with robust failure handling and retries.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, Jenkins) and release practices.
• Incorporate automated compliance checks, evidence capture and artifact management.
• Design PostgreSQL schemas and observability pipelines; implement Grafana/Splunk dashboards.
• Implement secure secrets management with HashiCorp Vault and least-privilege access.
• Document reusable patterns and collaborate across mainframe and infrastructure teams.
