Job summary

Investigo is seeking a Senior DevOps / Automation Engineer to support a strategic automation and DevOps modernisation programme across IBM Z and hybrid platform environments. You will design and deliver enterprise-grade automation solutions, CI/CD integrations, orchestration capabilities, and secure platform automation.

Qualifications

• Strong Python development experience with production-grade code, testing, logging, and error handling.
• Extensive experience with Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) within complex environments.
• Strong Git and CI/CD experience, including Jenkins pipeline development using Groovy.
• Experience designing and optimising PostgreSQL schemas and databases.
• Strong YAML development experience for automation and IaC solutions.
• Hands-on experience creating Grafana dashboards and observability pipelines.
• Experience managing Nexus or similar artefact repository platforms.
• Strong knowledge of HashiCorp Vault, secrets management, and secure credential handling.
• Proven experience building resilient automation and platform engineering solutions.
• Ability to work within large-scale, regulated environments.
• IBM Z / zOS experience is highly desirable.
