Job summary

Investigo is seeking a Senior DevOps / Automation Engineer to support a strategic automation and DevOps modernisation programme across IBM Z and hybrid platform environments. You will design and deliver enterprise-grade automation solutions, CI/CD integrations, orchestration capabilities, and secure platform automation.

You will build observability pipelines, ensure compliance verification, and manage secure credentials across a large-scale global estate, with a strong emphasis on resilience in

Qualifications

Strong Python development experience with production-grade code, testing, logging, and error handling.
Extensive experience with Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) within complex environments.
Strong Git and CI/CD experience, including Jenkins pipeline development using Groovy.
Experience designing and optimising PostgreSQL schemas and databases.
Strong YAML development experience for automation and IaC solutions.
Hands-on experience creating Grafana dashboards and observability pipelines.
Experience managing Nexus or similar artefact repository platforms.
Strong knowledge of HashiCorp Vault, secrets management, and secure credential handling.
Proven experience building resilient automation and platform engineering solutions.
Ability to work within large-scale, regulated environments.
IBM Z / zOS experience is highly desirable.
