Job summary

ITI Group in Glasgow is seeking a Principal Engineer - Hydro to lead design, development, and integration of advanced control systems across the hydro sector. You will own technical solutions from concept through delivery, ensuring quality, performance and client satisfaction.

You will mentor engineering teams, collaborate with software, hardware, and project management, and contribute to planning, budgeting, and client engagement.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience in systems engineering.
• Strong knowledge of SCADA/PLC/HMI packages.
• Understanding of project management principles and client handling.
• Experience with systems integration in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve complex architectures and specifications.
• Lead integration, testing, and validation.
• Provide coaching and technical guidance to the team.
• Engage with clients and manage project meetings and budgets.
