Job summary

Tetra Tech's Water Consultancy is seeking Principal Electrical Design Engineers to lead technical delivery across major UK-wide water frameworks. You will produce and approve intricate electrical designs for plants and pumping stations, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and engaging clients to ensure delivery on time and to standard.

Ideal candidates have a degree in Electrical Engineering, substantial water sector experience, and are chartered or working towards chartership.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline and substantial water sector experience.
• Chartered status or working towards chartership with relevant professional body.
• Postgraduate qualification and AMP programme experience are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery across major water frameworks UK-wide.
• Produce, review and approve complex electrical designs, specifications and calculations.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across process, civil, structural, mechanical and electrical domains.
• Engage clients, manage delivery risks and support framework growth.
• Mentor engineers, modellers and data analysts; drive knowledge capture.
