Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to deliver electrical and EICA designs for Scottish Water projects. The role is based in Edinburgh or Glasgow with flexible hybrid working and involves taking ownership from concept through to construction support.

You will develop and verify key deliverables such as SLDs, block diagrams, network diagrams, specifications, and control philosophies, collaborating with project managers, clients, and multidisciplinary teams, while mentoring junior

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) required.
• Chartered or working towards Chartered status preferred.
• Experience delivering electrical/EICA design in water/utilities or heavy infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical and EICA designs for water and wastewater projects.
• Take ownership of design packages from concept through construction support.
• Develop and verify SLDs, Block Diagrams, Network Diagrams, specifications, and control philosophies.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Mentor and guide graduate engineers and share knowledge.
