Job summary

Morson Group in London is seeking an experienced Planner to join our infrastructure team. You will develop and maintain project schedules for major programmes, collaborating with project managers, engineers and commercial teams.

The role offers hybrid working (3 days in the London office, 2 days from home) and a pathway to senior planning roles through ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Planner within infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Ability to produce progress reports and dashboards.
• Excellent analytical and detail-oriented skills.
• Strong stakeholder communication and teamwork.
• Experience managing multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update project and programme schedules using industry-standard planning tools.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and commercial teams to ensure integrated planning across multiple workstreams.
• Provide schedule analysis, forecasts, and reports to stakeholders at all levels.
• Conduct critical path and risk-based analysis to support decision-making.
• Ensure project planning aligns with governance and industry best practice.
• Support the development of mitigation strategies where delays or risks are identified.
• Engage with stakeholders to present programme performance, ensuring transparency and alignment.
