Job summary

Mitie Group plc. in Belfast seeks a time-served HVAC technician to maintain and repair facility plant and equipment across a range of systems. You will identify and log maintenance tasks, own issues proactively and ensure compliance with safety and electrical standards.

Applicants should have 5 years post-apprenticeship experience, knowledge of BMS and fault-finding skills for Split AC/VRV, Fan Coil, Air Handling, boilers and pumping systems. On-call rota participation is required.

Qualifications

• Time served air conditioning or HVAC technician with 5 years post apprenticeship experience.
• Knowledge and experience of BMS systems.
• Maintenance and repair experience for Split AC, VRV, Fan Coil, Air Handling, boilers and pumping systems.
• Health and Safety knowledge and electrical standards compliance.
• Excellent problem solving and fault finding abilities.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rota (1 in 4/5 weeks).

Responsibilities

• Safely maintain and repair facility plant and equipment.
• Identify reactive and remedial maintenance work and log tasks with the helpdesk.
• Proactively own issues and understand systems and plant.
• Carry out fault finding on plant and equipment.
• Maintain up-to-date asset registers and submit change requests for new assets.
• Provide innovation and engage in continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with PPM and Reactive Task SLA's.
• Carry out electrical, mechanical and building services activities as assigned.
• Support, develop and communicate best working practice.
